COVID-19 Summer Update

With the arrival of the COVID-19 pandemic, many activities have been impacted, including our basketball programs.

Canada Basketball and Ontario Basketball recently provided guidelines for returning to the court.

The Lindsay Wildcats are reviewing them, and are working with our partners as well as local health experts to determine how we can return to the court in a safe manner.

As of right now, there are still many questions, many of which are outside our control, especially related to access of facilities.

Without knowing the answers to those questions, we are unable to commit to any firm plans at the present time.

Our hope is that we will be able to return to some form of a Return to Play program for the 2020-2021 season.  How it will work and when it will begin cannot be determined at this time.

We expect more information to be available to us in mid August.

Once we receive that information, we will be able to plan our seasons to minimize the safety risks for our athletes, coaches and families.

We will not be able to take Lindsay Wildcats House League registrations, or set Rep tryout schedules before that time.

We thank everyone for their interest in our programs. We wish everyone a safe and happy summer.

Hopefully we will see you back on the court in the not-so-distant future.
