Holiday Update: A Fantastic Start to the Season

What a start it’s been for the Lindsay Wildcats this season! We’re excited to share that the 2024/2025 basketball season is off to a roaring success. This year, we’ve grown to seven rep teams, up from five last year—and we couldn’t be happier. It’s amazing to see how much love and energy there is for basketball in our community.

We’ve also had a big boost in volunteers this year, and we couldn’t do it without them. From coaches and parents to student helpers, everyone has stepped up to make this season one to remember. Thanks to their efforts, we’ve been able to host extra exhibition games, giving our players even more chances to develop and shine on the court.

Our house league has been thriving this fall, too! It’s been awesome to see more kids getting involved, especially our younger players and so many girls joining in. The gym is buzzing with energy every week, and it’s clear basketball is growing in Kawartha Lakes.
